What To Expect

Visiting Hope

When visiting the Hope Church of Christ, you can expect to be embraced by a loving church family.  At the Hope Church of Christ, we believe our visitors are special people because of God’s providential will and our belief that everything that happens, God designs.  This includes your visit to worship or attend bible study with our church congregation.  We are prone to recognizing, greeting and even embracing visitors with a Holy Kiss.  We look forward to meeting new friends and welcoming those who want to know more about having a closer relationship with God our father through His son Jesus Christ.

Where do I park?

Parking for our services is immediately outside of our address at 1800 North State Road 7, Hollywood, FL 33160.  We have overflow parking that our security staff will direct visitors and members to as the need arises.

What can I expect during worship?

During worship, you can expect a congregation committed to worship or ‘worthship’ where we give our God the highest honor, reverence and praise.  During worship, as instructed by scripture, we Teach and Preach (Acts 2:42, 20:8, 1 Corinthians 1:17, 2 Timothy 2:2, 1 Timothy 2:12), Pray (Acts 2:42, 4:31; 12:5, 1 Timothy 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 14:15) Praise & Sing (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16, Acts 2:47), The Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-29, Acts 20:7), Offer to God (Malachi 3:10, Mark 12:42-44, 2 Corinthians 8:1-5, 1 Corinthians 16:2),

What can I expect during Bible Class?

Because of our need to grow and search the scriptures, studying to increase our faith in the Lord, we come together regularly as a church congregation for bible class instruction.  These classes supplement our independent bible studies at home and in small groups.  Our bible classes are lead by capable and qualified teachers inside the church congregation and are designed based on a curriculum set by our Education Ministry leadership.  You can expect to be challenged and to grow spiritually by regular attendance at our bible studies on Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings and special studies as called by the evangelist.
